Why are my cubes small or hollow?
Low water flow is the usual cause: a clogged filter, a half-closed shut-off valve or an iced-up fill tube. We follow the water from the supply line to the tray before suggesting any part.
Does a new water filter fix ice problems?
Sometimes. An old filter can restrict flow and affect taste, but if the valve, the tube or the freezer temperature is the cause, a filter changes nothing. We check flow first, so you do not buy parts you do not need.
