Dryer Repair in Houston

Maytag dryers come in electric and gas versions, both built around a rotating drum, a blower, a heat source, thermostats and a control that watches temperature and, in many models, moisture. Heat and airflow have to work together, so a weak vent can look like a failed heater.

Many Houston laundry closets and garages have long, bent or crushed vent runs, and lint builds up quickly in a home that does several loads a day. Humidity also corrodes connections and shortens belt and roller life.

We start with the vent run, then the heat source, the thermostats, the belt, rollers and the blower wheel. On an older dryer that is out of warranty, we weigh the repair against replacement honestly, and we tell you if the cost of both is close.
