Washer Repair in Houston

Laundry is the core of the Maytag line, and we see two layouts: top-load washers, with an agitator or an impeller, and front-load washers with a drum that turns on a horizontal axis. Both fill, wash, drain and spin, using a water valve, a pump, a motor and a control.

Houston humidity is hard on washers. Front-load door seals stay damp and grow mildew, top-load lids and cabinets sit in hot garages, and hard or sediment-heavy water clogs inlet screens. Hoses age out and can burst, so we always look at them.

We check leveling, the load, the hoses, the inlet screens, the drain filter and pump, and the lid or door switch before judging any part. Many washers we see have run for ten or fifteen years; we repair them when it is sensible and tell you when replacement is the better choice.
