The oven on my MET8665X never reaches temperature. How do you test it?

We measure line voltage at the range, then the bake element's resistance and the sensor. Low voltage, a failed element or a wrong sensor reading each have a different fix, and we identify which applies.

What happens if a surface element is loose in its socket?

It can arc, burn the terminal and eventually damage the receptacle. We tighten or replace the socket and check the element, which is cheaper than waiting for further damage.

The display on this electric range drops digits. Is it fixable?

Often. A loose connector or a weak supply can cause it, and so can a failing display board. We test connections and power first and then quote the board if it is needed.
