What Rinse Light On means

A lit Rinse light on a Maytag top-load HE washer with electronic control, such as the MVW7232HC or MVWB765FW, is usually normal. Certain cycles use a spray rinse, which adds water to the tub while the basket spins. On some models, when Fabric Softener Yes is selected, you will hear sounds similar to the wash cycle as the washer rinses and moves the load. You may also hear the motor come on briefly with a short hum to move the basket while the tub fills.
