MVWB850W
Maytag Bravos MVWB850W Washer Fix
Most common issues on this model
- Inlet screens and hoses when the tub fills slowly
- Drain pump filter when water remains after draining
- Lid or door switch when the washer will not run
- Leveling when the cabinet shakes in spin
MVWB850W is a Maytag washer in the Bravos line, and the number is sold with several endings, among them MVWB850WB, MVWB850WL and MVWB850WQ. Those letters mark color or revision, so we match the full label before choosing a part.
The information for this number is short. We do not claim a capacity or a wash action, and we do not guess at features. What we can say is how a washer of this type is usually serviced: fill side first, then the drain, then the switch and control.
The ending can change the part, so the full number and serial are noted before we order. You see the price in writing before work begins. Our labor is warranted for 30 days.

Why does my MVWB850W shake in the spin cycle?
Most often the washer is out of level or the load is lopsided. We check the feet and the floor first, then the suspension, and we do not replace parts until those are ruled out.
Which endings are sold for MVWB850W?
We have MVWB850WB, MVWB850WL and MVWB850WQ listed, and there may be others. The ending can change the finish or revision, so we confirm it from the label.
Will you tell me if the repair is not worth it?
Yes. The estimate is in writing before work starts, and a repair that costs more than the washer is worth is something we raise ourselves, leaving the choice with you.
