Why does my flame go out on the low setting?

A partly clogged port or a crooked cap can let the flame lift and die at low gas flow. We clean and reseat the burner, then test low and high settings before we decide on any part.

One burner has no spark but the others do. What is wrong?

That igniter or its wire is the likely cause, not the module, because the module is still firing the other burners. We test both the igniter and the wire before ordering anything, so you do not pay for the wrong part.

Can I use parts from another MGC cooktop?

Not safely. Parts differ between number groups, so we match each part to your full model number from the label. A grate or cap that looks close can still sit wrong and give a poor flame.
