Why does only one burner on my cooktop refuse to light?
That burner usually has a blocked port, a wet or dirty igniter, or a cap that is not seated. We clean and test it before replacing anything, because the other burners working points away from the spark module.
Why does the clicking continue after the burner lights?
The igniter may be wet or dirty, or the switch behind the knob may be stuck on. We dry and clean the area first, then test the switch and the spark module if the clicking continues after that.
Does the WB number change the repair?
It can. A different ending may mean a different color or revision, and some parts differ between them. We copy the whole number off the rating label before ordering so a grate, cap or igniter arrives that actually fits.
